  The Toronto Alexithymia Scale (TAS) is a tool specifically designed to assess Alexithymia. Alexios refers to an individual's difficulty in recognizing and describing their emotional state, typically manifested as difficulties in expressing emotions and a lack of imaginative thinking. TAS was developed by Bagby, Parker, Taylor, and others in 1994 and is currently one of the most widely used tools for measuring affective disorders.
